Edisto Triathlon Saturday, October 30, 2021
Posted 10/26/21: The Edisto Triathlon will be Saturday, October 30, with part of Ocean Ridge used in the run. Approximately 200 men are expected to compete. The event will begin at the State Park with a 1.2 mile swim followed by a 56 mile bike ride that will end at Bay Creek Park where the 13 mile run will begin. Runners will enter the Jenkins gate and do a lap around Rice Lane before heading out the Jenkins gate where the run will be completed. Runners should be in Ocean Ridge in the early afternoon. Please drive cautiously when the participants are in the area.

Posted 8/21/20: The Jenkins Entrance gate has been blockaded until we can get the gate repaired. We are awaiting parts. We blockaded the gate because we had too many non-owners entering the community and people exiting the entrance gate into oncoming traffic. This decision was made out of safety and security for the residents. Thanks for your patience.
Ocean Ridge RFID Owners: Try Avoid Front Gate Entry During Busy Season
Posted 6/20/20: The “season” is upon us! In order to keep the lines at the front gate down and to avoid waiting, Ocean Ridge RFID owners are asked to use the Summerwinds or Jenkins Street gates rather than the front gate. Thanks, and have a great summer!
