The Town of Edisto Beach has announced the re-entry process following Hurricane Matthew. Each day by noon they will announce the areas that have been cleared and schedule your day to enter the beach during the hours of 8 a.m and 3 p.m. Check this link daily for the area list: http://townofedistobeach.
Access to Ocean Ridge is still limited to essential personnel. The Town is attempting to clear roads in Ocean Ridge but many are still impassable. Representatives of SCS are in frequent contact with EB police to gain access as soon as possible to assess conditions, hopefully on 10/12/16. When this occurs, additional information will be immediately posted.

At this time (9/14/16), Julia has dropped approximately four inches of rain on Edisto Beach. The Ocean Ridge back gate at Jenkins Street is significantly flooded. Please use the front gate to enter and exit until the storm has passed and the water has receded. Be careful out there!
